I ran it on two mate,

One was a AMD Phenom X2 560
4GB RAM
ATI HD RADEON 6770

Ran about 30fps @ 1920x1080
35fps @ 1440 x 900
40-45 fps @ 1280 x720 - This resolution and FPS is better than the console version
CPU bottle necked a bit during firefights but the game runned like a dream otherwise, simply proc upgrade would sort this rig

Second was my own;

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3GHz
6GB RAM
HD 6850 1GB

1920x1080 - Min was 55 Max was 90 Average 60

17" MacBook pro 2.3ghz i7 quad core
Hi-res anti glare screen
8 gigs ram256 ssd
Ati radeon 6750m 1 gig video card

Can't wait for a bit of bf3...Bp

Thanks for sharing the videos. The lighting was awesome in the tunnels with the bullets, rockets and grenades going off.
Im also glad you can go prone again. Thats whats missing from BC2.
Also what where the hit boxes like in the alpha because in BC2 you can be stood right next to them and shoot them with a shotgun and they would just look at you and kill you..

Hit detection was quite good, I never witnessed anything unusual like emptying clips into people and they just pop you once and then your dead. I did hear some people moaning but then further down the forum they had either a poor internet connection or a bit torrent client running.

Another thing that really impressed me is the sound of the battles,If you have surround sound system or headphone's it add's realism because you can hear bullets whizzing past you

Glad to hear that the hit detection have got sorted out, it really bugs me on BC2.
Sounds awesome, sadly havent got 5.1 speakers desk area is not big enough but i do have headphone's. Can't wait for this now only another 2 months and 25 days
Hopefuly Uni work will keep me occupied until then.

well, if you pre-ordered BF3 on Origin, you are guaranteed to be invited to the beta in September

Just pre-ordered it on Origin, i usally buy all my games from steam but seen as BF3 is not going to be on steam then Origin it is..
