DSi wont recognise flash cards...any idea why?

Ive got 4 DSi here, a black, white and a red one and a DSi XL and also 3 Acekard2i's.

All the cards work in all the DSi except the white one, which doesn't even acknowledge theres a card in the slot, yet it will play original games fine. Ive updated the 2i's to the latest version which I knew wouldnt make a difference anyway.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be? The red and black ones dont need the ability to read flash cards, but the white one is for my better half and needs to work with flashcards! I'm tempted to just switch the main boards over but I am concerned there may be issues later on with the white un's board.

Strange one this, but sorted it now. Seems sticking paper on the board behind the contact pins worked, I've read this is needed on some AK2 clones, but it seems odd that the cards all worked in 3 other DSi. you live n learn.

Just what I was going to suggest...seems theres a fine line in tolerance on cartridge manufacture, more so on the dsi's. I had one recently where I had 3 AK2I's working on a particular DSi, but one other that just refused, yet worked on all others. I fixed it by tinning and putting a thin bead of solder on each contact strip on the AK2i, but thats probably achieving nothing more than the paper trick.

Got a similar problem with my boys DSiXL was working fine until about 2 weeks ago....now it doesnt recognise it but it works in his older battered DSi.

Will give this a go later.
