Sonic CD on Wii

To date, the only Sonic game (2D) I've not complete is Sonic CD. I found the GC ISO for Sonic Gems Collection and downloaded ... is there any way at all I can play this on my 4.3E softmodded Wii?

Already got the ISO on my PC but would rather play it on the console.

wasnt sonic cd a mega cd game? your best off looking or a emulator for the pc mate

If your Wii is an older model and can run games off dvd, you can just burn it, you may need a loader in your homebrew channel. You will also need a GC pad and memory card.

If there is a Sega CD emulator for the Wii, this would make more sense.

Yeah it's a Mega CD game.

My console is only a year old and not chipped so I don't think I can run games from the disc. It's a shame there is no GC ISO emulation, or Mega CD emulation on the Wii (Yet...).

I worked round this by getting a PS2 and getting Sonic Gems Collection for PS2 on Amazon for £3. Unfortunately it doesn't have the save function so I'm just going to stick at playing it on the PC emulator I think.
