Help Ebay advice/help required. Have I been scammed?

    Hi,

I've used ebay for yonks and this is the first time it has borked for me. I have opened a case with ebay and they say get in touch with the seller - which I am about to do thanks to the contact seller feature in ebay.

edit: It was this company: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/newlitone/

    Seller Information:
    New Litone
London, Essex E17 9BU United Kingdom

    Paypal to: Umar Habib

I bought a couple of Original iPhone 4 earphones for round 8 quid each, so not a huge amount of money. I have the ebay and paypal confirmation emails but a few days ago the 'Won' item just disappeared from my history. Clicking on the link in the 'Won' email just gives me an ebay page with:

Sorry, we aren't able to complete your request at this time.

If you encounter this message more than once, please contact us, and we'll do our best to help

The seller had 100% feedback and had sold quite a few items before.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a scam?

    Ta.

An iphone earphone auction of there's has been removed, probably for being fake.

There's a good chance you'll still get them though.

Ah, thanks for the extra info. That recent negative info wasn't there when I made the purchase, unfortunately.

Maybe if they sell enough at £8 it would add up and some people prob wouldn't bother opening a dispute for that amount?

eBay will usually contact you via email to say an item has been removed and they will urge you not to complete the transaction (although every time this has happened to me the transaction has gone through already). Usually this happens due to the item breaching eBay rules rather than it being a scam. How long ago was the purchase made?

Yeah, this has happened to me loads of times, but the seller has always posted anyway when a payment has gone through. I'd hold tight and see what happens.
