Drive Laser swap

I am having trouble with my 360 not reading disks. I think that the laser has gone.. would it be easier for me to swap out the drive or just the laser.. bearing in mind that my soldering skills are those of a 5 year old!

My 360 skills are limited.. I have replaced xclamps before but thats about it.. I have a ck3 lite..

Just swap the laser piece of piss mate

You can do it with 3 screws and ten minutes.

Just pull of the faceplate and look on the drive for a little hole that has 2 wires in it,
No Wires = Hitachi
Red & Black = Samsung
White = BenQ
Yellow = LiteOn
