Img burn crashes after burning 1 XGD3 BACKUP ?

Hi i can burn 1 backup ok but if i try to do anther burn it starts and then freezes and gives error 08:22:19 Potential Bogus Driver Error Detected! ? if i delete the drive and the ATA channel in the system device manager and reboot i can burn anther and then it will crash again on the nxt burn ? im using a I Optiarc DVD RW AD-7260S 1.03 (SATA) drive and win 7 64 bit .

Sounds like a driver issue to me.

Get the correct 64 bit driver and dont use any 3rd party of "vista" driver. If this is running on a compatible one then it`ll throw up issues. Try re-installing imageburn again as this might not have fully installed correctly

its a bit of a weird problem because its only doing it on the new xgd3 stuff, reinstalled imgburn but its the same and cant use test mode either on dual layer so just going to uninstall drive and ata device till ive burnt um ,it will burn a normal disk fine after burning a xgd3 but wont burn a xgd3 after one has allready been burnt, really wierd .

It could also be a bios issue with the CD/DVD. Is it useing an upto date bios firmware? Although i dont see how it can work once then crash next time round. I had a sim issue with nero years ago. was a matter of re-installing the drivers and it sorted it self out

yeah tried all that mate, just read clonecd is meant to work ok so will try it once i get back home ,

you got daemon tools installed by any chance?

no mate i did before and also had alcohol 120 installed but uninstalled them ages ago , going to do a fresh backup install as its bugging me more than anything and i like to do a fresh install every now and then so it gives me a reason (well thats what i tell me self lol )

yep the driver that causes the issue does not get uninstalled, use slysoft virtual drive after your reinstall. Its free and better

just done a restore from a backup image everything works fine but going to use clonecd now as only got a couple of verbs left and wasted to many with imgburn .
