Help Change send from address on iPhone

Does anyone know how to do this? I have a problem with an exchange account and a Gmail account. Both have connected accounts which I can send from online or through Outlook but when the accounts are connected to my iPhone, iPad etc. I do not have the option to send from the connected accounts.

In the case of the microsoft exchange account I do not want to send from the account email address, I always want to send from an owned domain address. In the case of the Gmail account I want to reply to emails using the same address the email was sent to originally.

Any help appreciated, not sure if I am going to be able to get around this one

    Cheers

I had the same problem when I was using Gmail. I'm sure at the time it wasn't supported from iOS and it recently has been made an option. Check out the recent news updates from Google perhaps.

    Thanks to stimpy

I have found a few articles about the send as feature for gmail on the iPhone:
    http://thenextweb.com/google/2011/06/15/google-sync-gets-universal-search-and-send-mail-as-features-for-ios/

    I
have logged on to m.google.com/sync and enabled the send mail as feature but it is not respecting my Gmail settings which are set to 'Reply from the same address to which the message was sent'. The feature works when using Gmail online but not on the iPhone.

Any ideas if there is a setting like this for Microsoft Exchange?

    Cheers

No matter what I try with Gmail I cannot get the 'Reply from the same address to which the message was sent' option to work via my iPhone. If I set my own domain email as the default in the Gmail control panel I can send email from there via. the iPhone but now I can't send from the personal Gmail address. Not the end of the world but a bit annoying.

As for the Microsoft Office 365 exchange, even though Outlook online is configured to send from the own domain as default the iDevices will only send from the onmicrosoft account address. I cannot find an option to make the iPhone emails respect the Outlook online settings like I can do with Google sync.
