I'm using a VPN to get round chairman Mao's filtering here in China, however for the last few days it hasn't worked and the usual fixes don't work either. I tried to access the official site for my VPN and that's not working too. I dunno if they have gone down, or if the Mao filter is now blocking the VPN and their site, so, can someone in the civilized world let me know if the site is working for them?

cheers wakadoo, I can only assume China has had a go at blocking VPNs, lots of other sites that sell the service seem to be dead too. I cant even email vpnmaster, which seems odd. Could they stop emails from getting through as well?

cheers for the input chaps, the .info site looks the same as the .com, except half of it doesnt work, not sure what thats all about. I have managed to send the company an email now via their paypal payment agency thing, so it may get resolved.
VyperVPN are good, but pricey, I was only paying $8pm before which wasnt the cheapest, however the cheaper ones are now unreachable (without using a VPN!)
Will sign myself up to the ipredator thing too, looks good and if its related to a warez site i can be sure it will fit my needs

I assume it uses servers in USA to check so will always give the correct info back?

It's an alternative url from when China shut them off before, the bits that don't work probably link to the .com domain.

I seeeeee. At the threat of cancelling my account they have got back to me with a list of alternate servers, so all is well again. I am going to consider cancelling at the end of this month though and give ipredator a whirl.
