Im wanting to start my old computer collection again but this time starting with the Amiga 1200, if anyone has one for sale that is in good condition (prefer boxed and no yellowing but will consider all)
it would be greatly appreciated

just give me a price delivered.

ideally it would come with extra floppy drive or hard drive installed etc.

Iirc, I've got a lead that plugs into the internal 2.5" ide connector, but the other end is a 3.5" ide plug so you can have a big/cheap drive hanging outside your computer, just need a power supply. If you get a 1200 and want this, let me know.

A 3.5" HD will fit inside the actual Amiga, you don't need it hanging outside.

Does this allow to be loaded on PC's like Linux distro's and such? Looks good.

it comes on "live" download and its based on linux mint, which has now had more downloads than Ubuntu.

Hmmm, this could be your lucky day. My Amiga has been in storage the last couple of years, could be persuaded to let it go but not sure what to ask for it. It's a 1200 with extra external floppy, and internally mounted hd. Also has a 4mb ram & doubled clocked CPU accelerator. (I think it was an Apollo 1220). It's not boxed and from memory it wasn't yellowing. I also have a bunch of original games.
Ooh, just thought on, also have a Surf Squirrel - scsi interface that plugs into PCMCIA slot to run the scsi cd rom I had for it, but I think that's gone.

I had been considering getting it out again but I have nowhere to put it. Have been playing Amiga games through emu and it's good enough for me.
Let me get in the attic and check exactly what I have and condition and I'll have a think about price. Perfect timing for me tho, bit of extra cash for the kiddies Xmas.

Unfortunately you'll see that the keys have started to yellow, but the case is ok. The A500plus is going very yellow!
Switched it on and booted straight into Workbench off the hd, had a quick go of World of Lemmings while it was on, working perfectly. Haven't tried the floppy drive yet, will confirm later but I'm sure it'll be fine.
It had forgotten the time, but that'll just be the battery on the expansion card. After all it's been a few years since last used. Checked it hadn't leaked, it was fine. The expansion card is an Blizzard 1220/4. (4mb ram and 28mhz EC020 processor as opposed to the 14mhz one in the Amiga itself. )
I also need to go through the bags of gear to see exactly what's in there but I did see the external cd for it with the scsi interface.
