XDG3 - Game not recognized

Hi guys,

Hope someone can throw some light on my problem. Basically I purchased a Liteon iHAS224B of which I updated the firmware to the iXtreme burner MAX firware v1.0.

Last night, I flashed my friends Liteon-DG-16D4S which had FW ver 9504 HW Ver A0A0 to the latest LT+ v2.0 and for this I used a X360USB Pro and a Xecuter CK3 Pro, and I did all this within a Virtual XP machine inside of Parallels Desktop, I downloaded the latest version of Jungle Flasher and within a few minutes I had read the orignal firmware on the 360 drive, and copied the DVD key across to the LT + V2.0 CFW, then of course wrote the firmware.

I then used my PC upstairs which has the Liteon iHAS224B in it and burnt a XDG3 game to it using a Verb dual layer disc, before I burnt this I made sure that the settings within Imgburn were as many tutorials showed.

The disc succesfully burnt, as Imgburn reported 100%, I popped back downstairs and placed the backup in the Slim I had just flashed, and the Slim reported that the game I was trying needed a update, this is likley as the Slim had not been onlive since it was purcahse, so was and is probably a few dashes out of date.

So then I thought I would try it on my other Slim which I had flashed a few weeks before again with the LT+ 2.0 and the disc was unrecognised, weird as BF3 worked fine .... Oh well I thought, I will put it in my other slim which has a CoolRunner fitted and boot into FSD and run it , nope ... each time I tried to run it from FSD it booted back to the NXE dash.

Bssically I have some more tseting to do tonight, but I was wondering if anybody has any ideas??? or pointers???

This eveinng, I will burn a normal XDG2 game and test on all boxes ... I will try my BF3 backup on all boxes also ...

I think the game backup is fine, as the first box which has a older dash is asking for a update.. but the new box with the LT +v2.0 and running dash 2.0 13604.0 wont see the disc and my RGH box won't either ... and shouldn't this RGH box boot everything ?

basically you should of updated to the latest dash before you flashed the drive

has the coolrunner box got LTv2 on it?

So, on the box running the LT v2, I need to update the dash to the newer dashboad, which will then mean the drive will become locked .. and i'll then need to reflash it, once I have unlocked the drive correct?

No my Coolrunner box doesn't have LTv2 on it as was a original stock FW, so this would explain this one, I should however been able to port the game across using any one of the tools available to do this ...

My otherbox which is LT v2 should of booted this fine though???

The LT2.0 box has probably had it's dae.bin updated, and so still won't boot.

If that was the case then why would BF3 work? Will try a few more things out this evening, and see where that leads me.

I don't know mate I don't work for M$, it was just a suggestion.

xbs has threads saying some boot and some don't, maybe it's something similar to that as M$ are apparently issuing TU's as well that affect the ability of each game to boot - maybe BF has not been done and others have been cos of problems with original games booting....who knows?

I can confirm what rikman says . My console won't boot mw3 now but will boot skyrim &bf3.

me too, my MW3 will not boot but saint row does
