Youtube video download

Quick question any recommended software to download videos from Youtube? Google comes up with so many hits its ridiculous preferable would be something that saves them as wmv or a format that will play without any need for codecs to be installed on a pc.

This is the "base" application

When you download it click on youtube, and then click on "free youtube download", it will ask you to download that part.

It contains lots of free little, very useful apps Ive used for ages. great piece of kit :-)

Or get the 'YouTube Downloader' extension for Google chrome.

or go to www.keepvid.com, enter your youtube link and save the file.
