PS Vita Pre-Order bargain

Just spotted this seems like a crackin' deal if you're after a Vita at launch, it includes the pre-order bonus pack too.

Only downside, is that unlike Amazon etc, they take payment now, not on dispatch.

Aye, in Japan it looks like up to 20% is being cut by the retailers - wouldn't be surprised if Sony make the us/eu launch deal better (probably not by cutting, but including a mem card or game)..

If its anything like the 3ds then the price will drop quickly. For most people anything over the 100 quid mark is expensive for a portable games device.

hmm think ill wait till next month, then decide, the tech spec of this thing rocks, its the games that will make or break it i guess, few years back i got myself a psp but sold it after a month as i couldnt stand the low quality graphics as i got a xbox 360, just hope the Vita graphics are on par

Got the money sitting here for one of these but really tempted to hang on for a bit after launch to see if the price dips a fair bit like the 3DS did

I have an ipod touch, an android phone, a DSi and a 3DS. Angry birds and PvZ have eaten up a fair amount of my time, but 99% of any other games on phone formats are utter garbage. When you have titles like Mario3D and Uncharted on real handhelds, you can see there is very little comparison.

i agree completely with the above after owning a vita for just over a week, playing uncharted on the vita is the same experience as playing uncharted on the ps3 for me with extra touch features that arent on the ps3.... no ios or android device could equal this at the moment...

even playing modern combat 3 on the ipad2 for me is not user friendly and i struggled with the comtrol system, these devices have come along way in the last few years but they are no where near as good as a true handheld console...

please play uncharted on a vita if you get the oppurtunity.... its amazing... oh and even though its a demo ridge racer is great to...

Yeah, unchartered on vita is enough to convince anyone, and tbh I'm loving Marvel v Capcom too, it's just as good as the console version. Still need to give you a race on RR too mate, i think i sent you a friend request, so i'll see if you're about tonight sometime.

I think that's the whole point for me. I don't want to play 'big' games on a tiny screen. Games like that are meant to be played on your nice, big widescreen HTDV with booming surround sound IMHO.

I want pick up and play 'little' games for my handheld whilst sat on the bus/train whatever for a quick blast.

I have never really 'got' the PSP to be honest, the home console in your pocket thing that it does just doesnt gel for me, although it is getting better, as are psp games in general. For me the DS gets it just right most of the time. Games like brain training, layton, new super mario bros and many others just feel at home on a hand held, they're not too simple and theyre not too time consuming for a quick go before you shut the lid and wipe your bum.

Played 4 people from japan on RR the other night and they had left me after the first corner.... Great game though.. I deffo need a bigger memory card 4g will soon get swollen up when games are downloadable from the uk psn site....

I'm excited all over again for the uk release...
