Psp laser replacing/repair

Just got a Psp 2003 given seems the laser is fubar anyone on here fix em? or know someone decent in the Leeds area?

Before you go sending it away to anyone check the tiny micro switch near the top left hand corner

You'll see a tiny little pin that gets pushed down when the door is closed just move it slightly as they sometimes get stuck so it doesn't register that the door is closed so won't read the disc

had a tinkle with that, the psp is saying disc cannot be read, so im assuming it knows a disc is there.
