is it me or do the williams and ferrari noses look quite steeply raked comapred to the rest surley this will add to drag ?
I take it there are rule changes as most of the cars have a 'lump' where the front wishbones join the body?
McLaren dont seem to have gone down the same route though.

The new "Boxer" style nose must add some downforce over the front end for most of the teams to adopt it. Maybe Mclaren have just not played there "Ace" card just yet.
Im on a Digital Mission..... LOL....
I read it was because the car front ends were getting higher every year as it aids down-force. The FIA now see this as a risk because a car would be more likely to take someones head off in a side-on collision. Only the very front of the car has to be low to the ground, hence the step.
