UKCCL / Barrysworld / Savage or darkhour Quake 2 players

Just wondered if DF had any members who were former Quake II players in any of the above leagues.

Reason i am asking, is a few of us are trying to organise a FFA Q2 get together on a couple of good servers I have found are still running, so I'm trying to pass the word.

A ready made rar can be provided with all the files to get it running on Windows 7-64bit if required...all that would need changing is the config,cfg file (player name, key bindings etc)

There is a facebook group setup called "games.pub" with a view to getting some FFA games going with the players from the aforementioned leagues.
I believe the first "get together" will be this Sunday night....download details for the game and server IP etc are on the group. Feel free to join in !

I cant believe I missed this too. I was AtoMicDeTh on QW/Q2 and Q3.

Played for MT (Minor Threat) And sAn (Sanguinous)

I did manage to get the server up and running, and got about 15 or so for a nights play.
The numbers dropped however in the next couple of nights we tried it, and I never bothered again after that.
Still have the Q2 server ready to go on my Proliant though.
