Cant speak from experience but a friend bought one of these and he's the type to search reviews and shit endlessly before making a purchase.

edit, dunno if that one has the required outputs actually, but it sure is pretty.

I like the look of that numark one because it's small but has all the important buttons. Shame there's no built in sound card.

How much are you wanting to spend?
Do you really need a controller? as you could just get a decent soundcard with more outputs, set the DJ software to external mode and continue to use the mixer you have.
If it's defo a controller you're after, which DJ software are you using and what do you need it to control? (to help narrow it down a bit as there are loads to choose from now).

If you've got an Android or iDevice then TouchOSC, MidiTouch and a few other apps will enable you to create your own custom midi control surface to control most DJ software on the lappy via wifi.

    some good suggestions thanks.

I would need about 2 mics
    1 Channel for laptop.
    1 Channel for headphones.

Connecting to a amp nothing too expensive £80 is max

You need to either buy 1 with a built in soundcard or get a seperate usb soundcard for monitor/cue.

You could then route mic use and feed to amp through windows on 1 soundcard and use other for headphones.

I have a few USB mp3 mixers I use for radio...

Herculese .... cheap and simple but need second soundcard

Behringer BCD3000 - built in soundcard but you can only use mic as a talkover function to a track playing so not sure how it would be for singing, you might lose a few DB??

Awaiting my latest to to test out.

I think for your use, a dedicated USB mixer would be better than a USB mp3 controller and use a software such as VDJ for dj mixing, but allowing you full use of mixer functions for the singer.

TBH you will get what you pay for, dj / studio gear is as good as the price tag.

I dont think you'll be able to hook up 2 mics to the BCD3000. They're cheap as chips 2nd hand tho.
You could set the sw to external mode and pipe out a deck from the back and a deck from the headphone socket into the Numark mixer and remap the eq controls and faders on the BCD to do fx or something as you won't need them in external mode.
I did this with a BCD2000 and Traktor when I 1st got into DVS and still use the BCD for some stuff altho I've upgraded a couple of times since and even mapped the iPad to do everything I can on the BCD, I just prefer the feel of real controls over the touchscreen virtual controls.
As I say tho if you don't really need a controller, a decent soundcard with enough outs to feed into the Numark mixer you've got will suffice.
