How much did you pay for the body?
I thought you were looking for a bridge camera? dslr cameras only really come into their own with a selection of lenses, try to find a kit lens that someone is unloading or get a good superzoom bridge from the Panasonic Lumix range (Zeiss glass)
hi blaggard no i had a bridge camera which i sold and was looking for a dslr but i only £200 pounds at the time i spent same of the money i manged to pick the body up for £160 but now dont have the money for a good lens thats why i put i would like to by a cheap lens i only have £20 spare for a lens
Well I have managed to get some old film camera lenses for my Olympus cameras in the £20-£100 range thereby saving myself hundreds of pounds, I have to use an adapter and lose all auto functions. However I have also got a nice selection of Zuiko glass designed for the E series. I don't know what the equivalent for Canon would be but I suspect you are going to be unlucky. A good bridge camera will out perform a budget dslr with only a cheap walkabout lens, I do mean good though, a full size camera rather than a small snappy model though even they are producing ever better results.
I have the kit lens 18-55 as a spare, you can have it for £40 (delivered), lowest I can go really
