    no idea on timescales but will ask someone at the council on what the plans are
    looks promising.. could do with a faster connection but BT are really slow at rolloing things out.

    The articles date is 3rd of april so wasnt long ago really

    I wish I had of known about the 78 meg before I ordered and got the 38 meg from sly.
    I got an email from them from where you register your interest AFTER I got the fibre installed. Idiots.
    Still, it is nice, though.

    I spoke with sky a few weeks back and they told me the pro fibre would be available to all customers in June

    Sky is just trying to stagger the launch a bit, if you call them up complaining about broadband speeds or saying you are going to switch to BT and are in a BT area that supports it then they will switch you over.

    ahh i remember it well, all those years ago on my journey to college from Chorley( went to st Marys up shear brow) wasn't Nigels hairdressers along there before it moved into Blackburn?

    Bored so went on my sky home page and click instal sky fibre, and before it would not let me add it now its saying i can have it for 20 quid a month and a one off fee of 52 quid, great but it says estimated speeds 4.4 Mbps wtf ?!?! surley this cant be right for fibre ?

    What are you getting currently? BT are not allowing infinity in areas where the minimum speeds cannot be reached (option 1). Im not sure whether sky is following the same policy though.

    Im getting the bog standard for our area..still confused why would they want to take my money if the fiber line is not working ?
    all i can think of its a glitch, i will ring them tomorrow
