Steve that story had me really choked up. As the Father of a child who spent his 1st 3months of life in Neonatal intensive care and very nearly not making it through his 1st week i suppose i kind of know the emotions you and your family have been going through. Luckily my son is now 19months old and (hopefully) fully recovered.
It is inspirational to see how your step-daughter has turned such a terrible thing into a positive thing by raising money for the excellent care that is given when our children aren't well.
I will make my friends on FB aware of her page and try to donate a few quid myself.

I have a fully functioning daughter and son that seem to be doing ok with their life.

I can't imagine the grief and pain and loss if I lost one of mine. Thanks Steve you made me cry. How could I not donate?
