Using a PSP as a rear view mirror

Does anyone know if you can use a PSP as a rear view mirrow in games such as GT5 or F1? I've got a mate who claims that you can but I can't find any evidence of it on the internet. I've also heard you can use it as a map in the latest COD. Is that bollocks too?

Can't find anything on COD. Looks like it was demo'd at E3 as a wing mirror for F1 and anything else has been Chinese whispers. Sure info would have been much more widespread if there was any truth in it.

Only reason I ask is that my mate 'claims' to have had a bracket made so the PSP actually sits on top of his telly like a real rear view mirror. Would appear it's bullshit then.

lol, have seen the wing mirror in F1 as zoots said and im sure it was initally touted as a feature in GT5 but never made the game AFAIK . Love The claim hes had a bracket made.
