Sorry for the late reply all, I have just recovered from a portion of gastroenteritis. I really wouldnt recommend it anyone !

As for the iTaste, I havent used it much yet. First thoughts are why did I pay £30 for this as it really is no different to a normal ecig. Maybe after more use i will change my mind but at the moment it seems like an expensive pieces of kit, it does look nice though.

As for the protank 2, I personally dont like it. The metal taste does nothing for me, would have preferred a plastic lid for the top but never mind, win some lose some. Will try it more during the week and maybe purchase some different eliquid, but the metal taste is putting me off and making me feel sick. Perhaps it is because i am still recovering but who knows. Will post more of an update next week when I have used it more

A couple of the ones I use are pass through. Not sure what you mean by any good as it just charges while you use it.

forgot about those. I have one here somewhere but not used it in a long time. If I remember it has three or four fixed voltage outputs. It worked OK but anything larger than a carto and it becomes very top heavy. Just plugged into a standard USB 2 port.

For me I prefer a USB battery passthrough hence my post above.

If you want the passthrough I'll dig it out and send it to you. Better that someone else can use it.

Just use your I taste in power mode and not voltage mode set it to your taste between 7 and 8.5 watts then you are all set to go in power/wattage mode its a case of set and forget any atomizer you plug in will just work the ccig will alter the current automaticly for you.

Stay away from those things. What they don't tell you is that you should only use those with a wall to usb adapter or connected to a powered usb hub with a high enough amp rating to mange it.

Running a 1.5ohm carto at 3.7v you'll be drawing 2.46a and usb ports on laptops and pc's are only about 1a or so I think

What are worse are the passthroughs with inbuilt batteries. If you're using them and the battery is flat you end up putting a parasitic load on the battery which will discharge the lithium cell below 2.8v making the battery unstable in future charge cycles eventually leading to it cause quite the fireworks display

    Thanks to losttoy

Just to add. Never had an issue using in this in the PC on USB 2 or 3 and I have never had a problem charging a pass-through battery via a PC.

losttoy have you got a source for that info so I could look into it. As far as I was aware the pass through batteries (not sure about the pass through only) have a 500mA charger built in making them usable on a laptop/PC if this is not the case I would like to know.....

Maybe I have been lucky but I have been using large battery pass-throughs for 18 months without a problem....

i tested it on the pc vapes ok but seems week on all settings & it does pull a lot of power from the system,it stopped my flash drive working when i used it. im now using a power plug usb charge port & vapes better than any of the ego twist battery's i have..

Can anyone recommend the best place to purchase eliquid? I would prefer to go for quality even if it means it is slightly more expensive. I seen some posts earlier in this thread from about 2 years ago but would prefer an up to date suggestion if possible
