    Tech Company Site

    Hi guys,

I thought I'd let you review my website although not all of the 'Other Services' pages are fully completed yet.

But have a look, let me know what you think and any advise for me.

The homepage video is being developed as we speak.

    Regards,
    Jon

Do you really have 45 dedicated staff?

You only registered the company in April this year. It took me about 5 minutes to do that check. If I was thinking about using you I'd do those kind of checks and then assume you're a one man band who is just reselling hosting.

There's no point having an about us page if you're just going to make shit up that's easily debunked. Your users will want you to be honest from the outset.

As regards the website design. It's ordinary but some of the image quality, such as the brand logos, are bordering on nasty. You need to check spelling and grammar too.

Yes. I have a dedicated team of freelancers, yes they are technically freelancers (they work for another company that I employ) but they all work for me as well.

Fair shout, but I closed the company down in 2005 due to a motorbike crash and officially reopened it in January and registered it in April due to the size of the clients that I do business with.

All a 100% true, would you like my medical records or will pictures be ok?

I'll take that in to account and upgrade the quality. I will go through the site and improve all of the grammer.

    Anything else?

Jesus, talk about digging yourself into a bigger hole. Are you suggesting that you employ 45 dedicated staff because they work for a company you buy hosting from?

    Get a grip.

I don't doubt you had an accident, I was talking about your 45 dedicated staff.

    Just an observation following CJ's

You state in the blurb that there is no single point of failure.

    Yet you then say ..

But in 2005 the owner (Jon) had a life threatening motorcycle accident and the company was closed until further noticed. It took Jon over four years of solid rehab, sheer determination to survive and stubbornest to prove his consultants wrong that he would come out fighting, which with the help of his dedicated Father he did.

Which suggests your the single possible point of failure ?

Just saying you might want to rework the that.

"For over eight years". But Closed for 4.

The internet is fastest moving industry. 4 years is a lifetime.
I would remove any reference that you were 'out of the game' completely.

I like the site, but anyone looking just below the surface is going to see flaws. Perfect example of CJ's scrutiny above!

Your putting way too much information on it and reading between the lines is easy.
Put less stories and more about what you can do for your customers and promote any special offers more predominantly.
Give firm reasons why they should come to you rather than the likes of Godaddy.

I'm sorry to here about your accident and your incredible road to recovery, but I did not expect to learn about it while reviewing a Webhosting website.
Some information should be witheld, people do not want to think that if there is a problem, like your accident, they are going to lose all their services they have paid for.

If Branson had a balloon crash, would Virgin shutdown while he recovered?
