Help iPhone 4 Voda unlock to Orange?

Hi guys, basic question. My blackberrys playing up and a mate of mine has offered me his old iPhone 4 16gb for £200. I thought this was a pretty decent price and wouldn't mind taking it off his hands. Only problem is.. I'm on orange and he's of Voda. My sim is the wrong size to check but I'm pretty sure that it would be locked anyway?

What do I need to do... Can he call Voda and ask them to unlock?is there a charge for this?

Or do I need to get it unlocked? If so how much would it cost and wheres the best place?

Any help welcomed as I'm out of touch with phones

    Cheers,

    devs .

Perfect thanks. I'll ask him to call them.

Whats the best way to get a small sim out of orange or do I cut it down?

    Cheers, devs.

They charge for PAYG micro sims which is why the Mrs has a cut down one. Strange thing is, I upgraded m phone to a lumia and they gave me a new sim instead of just swaping mine over from my iphone. Orange are very strange in their practices.
What is it with steel wool? Is it steel? Or is it wool?
