My Windows install decided to go haywire a couple of days ago so I had to format my SSD. I was dual booting OSX Lion and Windows 7 (this is the cause for my problems as Chameleon was my bootloader) so thought I would give virtualisation a go for ease and fast switching. All has gone well and now I have OSX Lion running as a VM on my system.
I would usually copy/paste the guide on here and provide a source but as it is updated fairly regularly I will just post the external link and use this thread as feedback and support.
Requirements:
- You must have an Intel CPU, if you have an AMD CPU then this will NOT work for you.
- Check make sure your Intel CPU has virtualization technology and is enabled from your BIOS, find out how click here?
- At least 4GB of RAM (less than this will slow your system down very significant margin)
- At least 20 GB of Hard Drive space
Notes:
The unlocker link in the main body is dead but it is still live from the updates at the top (https://hotfile.com/dl/155846951/992...Files.exe.html)
The unlocker may appear to be malicious, it has been fine for me. Chrome reported it as being potentially unsafe (first time I have seen Chrome do that).
