Default Cant get off the starting blocks!

Finally got my Pi today, that initial excitement has long gone

Its brand new from RS, the SD card is also a brand new 2gb card, ive formatted it and ran the Raspbmc v3 installer all went fine. Plugged in my RS power supply and a solid red and green light came on the board, but no HDMI output. So tried on 3 other TV's in the house. No luck the Tv's dont see a signal.

I know im missing something here, ive had a flick through the noob guides and had a google and see references to a Config.TXT but i can see no such file on my 68mb parition infact i cant see any files once the card's been powered on through the Pi. Has anyone got any tips for me, my new toys just infuriated me all night

    - Two lights on Pi - Red and Green solid no lights on USB keyboard
    - No HDMI output installed Raspbmcv3 multiple times, help

Try running Debian reference build before anything else to test it works fine..

    Thanks to hjf288

I'd go with hjf288 advice. Go to the main site http://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads and get the Debian “squeeze” image (only 443.06 MB) then use Win32DiskImager to put it on the SD card.

    Thanks to koola2

Cheers for the link W32imager reports that says my card is to small (100 odd blocks )

Maybe this is why Raspbmc acts up.

I had problems with RaspBMC too initially. In the end I had to format my card (only a 256mb one) and halfway through formatting I would pop the card out. This scrambled the card and allowed me to format using the HP USB tool to the full size. Then I used the command line method of putting the image onto the card and all was good after that. The GUI installer doesn't work at all and I was ending up with the 68mb partition. It should be around 140mb if it works (If I remember correctly)
