Thought I would try and get an idea of how the Wii U will do at launch

No, don't see the point myself now, the kids are all happy with xbox, kinect and the iOS devices, don't see what the Wii U is going to really tempt me with, though of course any new Zelda title might make me look up for a second!

I'm not getting one at launch mainly due to real life demands, but if it happens to be out when I am back in the UK at Christmas, I'm in. In fact, since its probably due just before then, maybe I should pre-order...

Warioware, Pikmin and the Mario title are more than enough for me and I am sure Nintendo have something else up their sleeves for launch day.

last few consoles i have purchased immediately have been shall we say underwhelming, so this time i think i will wait to see what comes out for it first, if something grabs me i will pick one up

just don't want another wii on my hands basically, good for 5 mins, useless in general

Probably will, the kids will be desperate for Mario wii ( and ill get a shot when their in bed), that zombie game looks decent as well.

Unsure wether ill get it before or after xmas, kids are young so may want from santa, idelly ill wait until price drops / mods come out / enough decent games appear.

Hoping for a mario kart wii u, which will probably be a given at some point

Definitely not.

We have a wii here with wii fit 4x controllers and every bloody game and extra going.
It hasnt been played since wii fit came out.
