If you run android, I recommend installing the "Fuel Log" App.

APPS !!! what happened to pen and paper and some brain power

roughly 4.5 litres per gallon so thats nearly £6 a gallon

    £60 / £6 a gallon = 10 gallons

    400 miles / ten gallons = 40 mpg

COME ON one of the first things you learn when getting a car

    2 Thanks given to Mobileman

I only said fuel log to keep a track of things, not to work it out in the first place !
I'm quite interested in the 1 litre engine in the Focus...that's going to be a cracker when they put it in a Fiesta. 123 bhp out of that small an engine is pretty impressive. I was reading that the block is no wider than a sheet of a4 paper.

You would not believe it's a 1 ltr drives lovely faster than the 1.6 o-60 I believe ... No trouble overtaking ..virtually silent driving ...love the start stop technology and only £30 to tax a year
I got the privacy PAC 17 inch alloys for free so not to bad works out £350 a month ...

Come on Mobileman get with the times there's an app for every thing nowadays lol ... Nearly £6 a gallon Shit that's expensive now

pays for itself if your car decides to throw a fault code up

by connecting the dongle to your obd2 port (everything modern-ish has one)

It's bluetooth then from the dongle to the phone.

I bought one of these (although not from this seller)

That looks great, I hope there's a similar app for the iPhone.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...
