My current sky box has 1 rf in and 2 rf out which is essential for the way the tv ariels work in my house. Does the Virgin HD box have anything similar?

Not sure about your area but in my area they dont issue V+ HD boxes anymore, Just Tivo which doesn't have any RF outputs on it at all. i have had nothing but bother with mine since install main problem being on demand not working
This is what I have coming
Not the end of the world if there's no RF output...
Use the scart output to an RF modulator and loop that into your distribution system. The Labgear ones work well.
That means nothing to me lol. Any links? Ive got the ariel coming into the skybox and this feeds the 2 tv downstairs. The virgin box has a scart useage and thats all i know. Its essential i get this right first time, ive been through enough with VM to get them to install their kit.
OK, rear connections:
Rear connections include HDMI, optical digital audio, Smart card slot, F-Connector and legacy Scart. There's also an inactive Ethernet port and e-SATA connector.
The scart picture/sound will be pretty dire by todays standards, the HDMI HD output gets glowing reviews on this box.
It'll be even worse when it's converted to analogue RF!
But it'll be exactly the same quality as the OP has been watching from the Sky box RF output.
The RF modulator won't take an HDMI input, only composite video and analogue audio, which will be available from the scart socket. I'll look for a link to the RF modulator when I get chance. They cost us just over £20 trade. Reckon you'd get one for a few quid more. Very easy to connect up.
Thanks. My mother got a tv guy's number from the neighbour who did the whole house. i have figured out downstairs (thanks to the sky box) but I have no idea how he done the tvs upstairs (since i was away) and his number has changed.
Thanks for your help.
@Blaggard i only need this sorted for the indian channels for the old dear, which none of them have gone HD.

You just need one of these scart to RF converters. I have been using this exact same one for two years without issue. It even lets you set which RF channel you want to use.
