    Default Sky Fibre Unlimited PRO

Have been on the phone to sky who informed me I can get Fibre Proand should get close to the full 80/20 sync speeds.
I know its £30 a month but they offered to reduce my Line Rental to £3 a month if I order which saves me about £9 I think
Anyway does anyone else on here have it and would recommend????
Also does anyone know roughly how long they take to move you over from Normal Sky Broadband??
I currently get 18meg on Sky BB which is OK but my upload is usually about 800k which I hate.

Strange but all through the process they never mentioned an activation fee which I thought there was but I didnt want to say anythin and prompt them.

Thanks for any tips b4 I phone em back and do the dirty.

I get my fibre installed on the 29th, can't wait I went from a property with 24mb Be unlimited to 2.5mb. Looked on sky's website the other day and noticed I could be upgraded to Fibre. There was no mention of Fibre Pro, max I could get was 40mb.

It should be transferred on the day you book the engineer. AFAIK they just swap it in the cab and run some tests on the line.
Apparently you need to run your own tests as some people on Sky fibre are syncing at the correct speed (40mb) but only getting 20mb when they go to speed test sites.

Fibre pro cant be ordered thru the website at the mo.. its only over the phone.. but I am told if you can get one you can get the other for an extra tenner.

If u already have fibre tho u can upgrade to Pro which happens overnight

Yeah I had to pay an activation fee. I didn't phone them I just did it on the website. In hindsight I should have rung them as I bet the activation fee would have been dropped.

When I ordered the activation date was 3 weeks away. I tried to change the date last week but it added another 3 weeks so didn't bother. I assume 3 weeks is the standard lead time.
