IE9 pages freezes

Not had this issue but i am stuck at work and had to install chrome so i can at least have some browsing.

When i load up internet explorer i have 2 tabs. 1 does google and the other loads up DF. once both have loaded up in about 5 seconds. i cannot press the tag button to add another tag or even use the broweser. i have to alt+sht+del and close the browser down.

I have run malewarebytes after updating it and nothing there, i have also factory reset all defaults on the browser and still it seems to hang. after about 5 minutes the browser seems to let me have control.

all add ons and the such have been removed as its a new vanilla ie9 that is on there now.


any suggestions as i know it isnt a virus/maleware. all other services are running fine with no cpu overheads anywhere in system

I just rebuilt my main home desktop and I also had that issue for a day or two then it just vanished. Sorry I haven't got a clue why but if you don't get a fix try updating the machine and trying in a couple of days.

i`ll probably get an acronic backup at home tonight and install that.
i have run windows manager 7 on it and fixed all ther ie files and still it does it. even when in offline mode

It is a strange one as it lets me sometimes go thru the option file edit fav tools buttons and then it dont


you cant even minimize the browser once it up for a while.

I uninstalled ie9

and ie8 does it also
