if your getting the same issue with 2 different routers and different DNS, id be looking at the isp mate.

When your dns drops out again can you go to command prompt (start, run, type cmd and hit enter) and type

ping www.google.com -t

This command will try to resolve the url to an ip address and then ping it constantly. If this fails well theres your proof its an isp issue.

i had something similar on my 2820. Go to Firewall, the DoS defence and turn it off. Solved my problems, maybe worth a punt.
