Info Sky 2TB box for existing customers

Sky currently have this offer on for existing customers.

Sky+HD 2TB box: £49 for existing Sky TV customers taking their first HD package (£10.25pm) or existing Sky+HD customers adding Sky Multiroom (£10.25pm per box). Existing Sky+HD customers are entitled to one £149 box, additional 2TB boxes £249. New customers joining Sky TV with the HD Pack are entitled to one £149 box. Any additional 2TB boxes thereafter or when taking without the HD Pack are £249. Standard set-up £30 for new customers and £60 for existing Sky TV customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra. Sky+HD 2TB box provides 1.5TB of personal storage and 0.5TB of storage for On Demand Showcase content.
Now I already have HD and a multiroom subscription but I thought Id chance my arm as per this thread!!

A few mails via "contact us" on the web-site and polite disgust to Jeremy Daroch and the Executive Support Team re: being long time subscriber treated as a 2nd class citizen and viola a call from EST offering me a 2TB box for £49 via courier for self install.

    Lovely Jubbly!!

I have trouble filling my old 300gb HD box with the crap that's on sky. The only things I really record are sporting events eveything else I grab from the newsgroups.

Yea has said on mrphils thread I would email him and copy in watchdog@bbc.co.uk ;-)

Will give it a go as I got a sky HD box and a sky + box so want to upgrade me sky + to a HD box but every scenario was atleast £150 which is a rip off for how long I been with them and how much I pay a month, if I was on the 14.95 a month contract then I expect to pay a bit of a new box but I got the World Package or what ever it is so expect a little discount.

Off topic Nibb did you see "Karl Pilkington Satisfied Fool" on C4 a couple of weeks ago if not look it up ;-)
