    Default Insurance for camera stuff

I have just received my new camera and am after insurance catered for camera stuff as now there is a few quids worth in my bag. I got a nice shiny brand new D5 mk3 that had bumped up the value in my bag and I'm after some recommendations.

I'm with Cliik, I can't remember how much it is about £35 per month now for cover of £15000 worth of kit and public liability of 5 million insured for left in car and all the other bits you normally have to add on at photoguard that bump the price up. The original quote was about £320 before the 2nd 1DIV was purchased adding about another £3k to the value of kit.

I was getting quotes online before I went to Focus on Imageing to see what offers they were doing, the guy there called Steve is great to talk to and wasn't the cheapest but not much more and the cover seems better he spent time with me explaining stuff and made me feel at ease the others just didn't seem interested just fireing a quote at me promising show discounts but their show prices were the same as the prices I had already got online without the show discount.

never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups!

    Thanks to Little John
