    Default Cookware

What do you use? All the pans in my house are shit, so ideally I'm after a set. Ive asked around and no-one i know uses Tefal, the majority just buy single pans when they are out shopping.

I got a set of Prestige pans from last years amazon black Friday deals. Brilliant set, used pretty much daily, non stick just like the day I bought them.

Tefal frying pan I bought a few years back went tits up after about 6 months.

Also use a le creuset cast iron pan for steaks etc, again highly recommended.

    Thanks to iNSPECTA

Le Crueset are hard to beat
An old family friend gave me a set of Le Creuset enamel pans she'd had for over 15 years cos they were the wrong colour for her new kitchen That was over 10 years now and they still look like they've hardly been used, altho I use them every day
They're too heavy to hang on the wall in the kitchen, like I originally wanted, but the heat distribution and non stick are excellent and I don't really mind the orange colour, myself lol.
Did I ever tell you you're my hero?

We've got the Jamie Oliver collection endorsed by Tefal.
Cracking they are. Never had anything stick and soooo easy to clean. Highly recommend them.

The glowing red dot in the centre helps to keep the pan at the right temperature too - so long as you turn it down.
We got the set of 5 for about £80 if I recall.

They've dropped Jamie Oliver now, but Argos have similar stuff made by Tefal and much cheaper at £35.99

    Check out the reviews!

The old dear was looking at copper pans, some of them go for silly prices.

Just found out she ordered a cermanic pan (As a test) from amazon. I'll report back when it comes.

If you ever intend to change to magnetic induction cooking in the future, it may be worth you going for some stainless steel pans with encapsulated steel base.

Induction cooking is the future of hob cooking in my opinion. Since I had my induction hob I have converted a few friends. Once they see it working they want one; and after a few days of getting one they say they will never go back.

I bought some Prestige stainless steel pans 12 years ago and lucky enough the base of the pans were suitable for induction when I changed over a year ago; and they are still like new. (">

Have a wok from a hoo hing seansoned properly and sub a tenner. Pots and pans are stainless steel usually picked up from Indian/commercial supplier places like macro and such. Look at the pans with a guarantee and look at how the guarantee/warranty works. Commercial stuff is usually built to last.
