Best FW for banned console?

As per title really, is there a fw that will play anything I can throw at it.

Sister has a banned box that I was gonna update to LT for her to play XGD3s, but she has a load of older disks that are all different waves etc and will stop working if I do this (I think?)

So is there an fw that will play any wave, upto and including the newer XGD3 format.

If not, any advice on the best solution?

xgd3 needs lt3 full stop

So its gonna be put LT3 on it and lose the older disks or keep as is and not be able to play new games (XGD3s)
I was hoping there was a "play all" firmware as she isn't too technical and doesn't have an iHas
