    Help newsleecher and windows 8

    installed windows 8 and now newsleecher won't work. any suggestions fellas?? searched the web but scratching my head.

    Newsleecher v5.0 beta 15 is working, well it is for me anyway, on win 8 pro

    I am having an issue, maybe i need a newer version so i might download altbinz to get a newer version of newzbin downloaded and get it going, but in the meantime i have put a screenshot below to show you the error message i am getting.

    Not particularly helpful.....but how about sacking off Windows 8....you know you will (if you dont have a touchscreen monitor)....you must have figured out how wank it is by now !

    to be honest windows 8 is pretty decent, i have been using it today, your point might be valid for yourself but whenever you upgrade to a new o/s you will always have tething issues and compatibility issues and i have just sorted mine out by getting version 5 of newsleecher so to be honest its an inconvenience for a matter of minutes before you sort it out, but now its all good and i think the more i use windows 8 the happier i will be, just have to get used to the way it works and finding my own shortcuts within it.

    I,m going stick win 8 out m8 its pretty nice tbh and no touch screen here but that's no biggy.

    i had to go back to Windows 7 as i couldn't use my 360 pro flasher or my Nand X programmer Windows 8 didn't like the drivers.

    Why not use SabNZBD? I moved to that from news leecher years ago and haven't looked back
