Hitman Absolution : Sniper Challenge

Hi i've read that certain weapons unlocked in the sniper challenge will then unlock in Absolution. Does anybody know if this works on jtags?

For anybody else wondering, installed sniper challenge on rgh and yes all unlocks from sniper challenge eg sniper rifle, bigger clip size etc... are unlocked in Absolution.
