The app is out for IOS as well.
Had a play and am pretty impressed it's very fast and responsive.
You do need a Tivo to use it though.

Yeah the TV anywhere rocks. Rather impressed. It's not out for Android devices yet but it will be soon I imagine. Works great on mums iPad 3 though and even via Desktop PC.
One of the features I really do like is the ability to manage your series links, recorded shows and planned recordings ALL from a PC / Tablet / Phone. No more having to navigate with the remote control. Point and Click/Touch and it's very responsive. Plus the TvGuide via tablet PC is so much better than the TVGuide app previously released. Channel search (by name or number)
At the moment there's about 45 channels that can be streamed but that will expand I believe.
The next big thing would be the ability to stream your recorded programs to a tablet device. I think it can be done if the devices are linked on the same network but outside of that, it's something that would need developing I think.

Only down side is it takes control of the Tivo box, so for example if I'm in the kitchen and want to watch footy it takes over the Tivo box in the other room if someone else is watching TV via it then it goes off for them
Really? So for example, if you go to TV Anywhere on an iPad or desktop PC, and choose one of the streaming channels, it stops you from using your TiVO box?, or do you have it connected onto a network with the TiVO box?
I've just started a program via my PC and the TiVO was unaffected.
Sorry mate, could you explain the conditions in which you were using it?
Can't seem to get tv channels to steam onto the iPad. Only on demand stuff. Any ideas?

I was just using the Ipad app and selected something that was recorded, it started playing on the ipad and chnaged the channel on the tivo in the lounge, am I missing something?
That sounds shit!
I have two tivo boxes will have to try this cheers lets hope you can select individual boxes if not my Daughter will kill me for changing her programs.
We Only Need Nine men, we only need nine men.
Not played too hard with it to be honest, I have time tonight so I'll give it some hammer and see what happens
