Really enjoying this on the PC. After countless attempts to get the saves working from a trial copy I went and bought it from green man gaming for £26.00.
Just loving exploring the island, jumping off cliffs into hidden lakes and the sea.

you can buy it from one of the shops early on or you can get it free from one after youve shutdown the third radio tower.
I'm glad I went for this, its great.

the radio towers are really easy to take, barely any pirates around, you just have to climb them, every time you shut one down you get access to 2-3 Weapons at the shop for free, also it opens the map up to show you important stuff like outposts and places where the relics are hidden, and yes doing the proper missions opens up recipes for crafting and other stuff too.

My golly to the gosh!
That simple guide has made fc3 so much more enjoyable.
Im hunting nonstop at the min and that alone is worth the games price.
Relic hunting is a good sport.
Anyone know the best tactic on skinning sharks? So far i only find them in deep water so as they r killed they sink and because Jaws mentally fucked me over from a very young age, in cyber water, i dare not tread lol
Also when u see the diamond loot icon on the map and u r right on it but cant find anything what do i do? Its so frustratibg, sumtimes theres a tree where the item shud b so i try buck-blastin the trees in hope to find the loot.....
Otherwise this game is awesome and love it......its even forced me to sheld borderlands 2 ......for now

the loot containers you can't see when you are on top of them tend to be beneath you in caves. The entrances can be quite hard to find though.
Shark wise, I stand on the shore with my sniper rifle and bag them from there, then you can dive down and get them when its clear.
I managed to bag Far Cry 1, 2, and 3 for £4.94 yesterday, lovely! Think I'll play through 1 and 2 first for old time's sake, than see how 3 compares, will bookmark the guide linked to earlier, cheers.
Ahh i did wonder if it might be caves but if thats the case then yes...very hard to find.
I wss huntin fin at the very top of the map on a little island where i found my first relic (also where i thought i was gna get attacked my zombie natives with the sound that was playing near the relic) but where the water is there is a massive seabed drop off so any shark i killed sank to an inbreathable depth so i think i shal hunt fin elsewhere with a bottom i can reach. Gnna take sum balls gettin in that water tho
