It's completely serious mate... the beginning bit talks about the bible and stuff but that is not what I think they believe... they just mention it as it has been mentioned numerous times over the last 25 years....

For those who have difficulty believing that Chernobyl was not an accident, I suggest you first consider the rather profound connections the reported "accident" had to astrology and biblical prophecy.

That's as far as I got, and I only gave it that much time because I've been there and am mildly interested in the facts of the accident.

I don't think it was intentional. More fucking retarded to shut down all the safety controls and operate the plant in a way it was not intended to.

This is from memory but I think they were trying to test if in the event of a shut down they could use the kinetic energy from something (generator rotor?) to restart something else (pumps?). The test was passed over to another shift and in that time something went wrong with the management of the core.

They were running the plant at about 150% of its safe capacity, when the coolers failed because of it, it caused a spark in the main core room which ignited and caused it to leak and explode.
