    Hi,
Interested on how long you have spent on labour/programming on this project?
What is the full functionality of the system? ie, light control, TV, surround amp,
    Cheers

I'm implementing Lightwave RF devices throughout the house, It's a great nice to have but doesn't really get used that much unless I forgot to turn a light of upstairs.

There are not that many Lightwave RF products on the market yet and Lightwave seem to be extremely slow at releasing them.

    Problems with lightwave RF

Light switches are currently only dimmable ones which means you have to get compatible dimmable led bulbs unless you use normal halogens. I purchased 14 dimmable led bulbs to find out they weren't compatible and flickered on full power :@
The heating control is useless as it doesn't control your boiler it just controls each radiator's temp. I'm going to replace this with the system from heatmiser http://www.heatmiser.com/web/
The iphone app is basic doesn't offer heating controls and is buggy.
I've just added a 4 gang lightwave switch in the kitchen only to find out that the led plinth lights and under the wall unit led's are not compatible. Waste of £104.00 lol it wouldn't be so bad if the switches were non dimmable.

I think the more products they release the better the system will be, but the promise release dates and never fulfil . So I guess I will just have to put up with it until they release the switches I need.

    This is just my experience,

Paul have you had similar problems ?

I have seen the keypads and the app but not really dealt with lightwave before. Whats the cost to control 4 individual circuits with a couple of keypad and whats the functionality? The keypads look ok but they felt cheap when pressed.

There dimmable to save energy and the soft turn on and off is really nice, I source led dimmable bulbs that have been tested and work.
Your right about the heating control the 1st generation is useless as it doesn't control your boiler it just controls each radiator's temp (But there updating with 2nd Gen but slowly!)
I cant speak for the iphone because I have and android and use an 3rd party app, but again there updating mobile software soon so they say.

Maybe incorporate a relay, lights flex from a socket for the plinths and under cabinet with or without LED driver I don't know not seen the product.

So no mate mines Running nicely.
