Tyre Views / Advise ~ Autoguard

After Some new tyres for my Astra H 2.0 Turbo size 225/45/17 currently got on Kumho tyres and needing a new set for the front.

Does anyone know of a good place in Sheffield / Rotherham to get quality Cheap tyres and

Has anyone ever used Autoguard tyres. I can get a set of these quite cheap but the prices vary from garage to garage and I only know of two people who have used these tyres, one says they are good the other say they are rubbish so can I have anyones views please or recommendation or a good cheapish / quality tyre.

I always use Blackcircles.com if I don't know a cheap tyre fitter or Camskill if you have a garage that can fit them for cheap.

+1 for typresaving.com used them last month, they were £30 cheaper than main typre places.

A mate of mine owns Alba Tyres.. I am not advertising them here but I have sent people there before and they have been cheaper than other high street outlets. They have a few places in and around leeds which is just up the road.

I rung Alba up yesterday as it happens for a quote, their price was way below other high street places around here, the ones I'm looking at work out around 135 delivered each from Camskill and the Alba price was 155 fitted. I'd save around 30-40 quid by getting them off Camskill and taking them somewhere but as Alba are near the mrs I might pay the extra and go there as they're local.
