Has anyone bought Arma3 Alpha yet?

I bought the cheapest version but haven't had a chance to play it yet.

By the way if you are considering buying it when it is fully released, it would be a good idea buying the alpha as you will receive the full game once it is released, meaning you will pay £19.99 instead of £39.99

Yeah I grabbed it yesterday, i'm rubbish at it but still enjoying it, i'm yet to complete a mission successfully yet

It's more about simulation than anything else. I'd say its safer than Call of Duty and some of the risque quotes those guys come out with. Content is good, very large modding community and its as tough as you want it to be

I've also picked this up. Not had much chance to play yet but I've had a few goes of the infantry showcase. Seems very good! It's a good move by the devs opening up to modding from the start. There's already a good amount of content being released.

arma2 Joint operations on steam lastnight only 8.95 or full package with all addons for 12.95. i have it already but it was cracking price, Arma3 is realy good but buggy but what do you expect, its still great.

OK so since buying Arma3 I have now recieved a copy of arma 3 lite that I can gift to a friend, since I dont have any friends, the first VIP on DF that asks for it in this thread will get it.

Guys we should point out that LITE keys only give you access to showcase missions. Multiplayer and modding is disabled.
