mario kart gp problem

already had homebrew channel on my wii.......so
opened up wad manager from homebrew channel.
installed quadforce v0.1
installed mk 1+2 channels.

dowloaded mkgp bins 1 + 2
converted to iso with discex
renamed with wiiisorenamerv3

copied to games folder on sd card.

the mkgp channels are there but when i open it i get a black screen for a few seconds and then it goes back to the main channel selection screen.

any ideas as to what i am doing wrong cos i havent got a clue.

any help would be appreciated.

Don't know anything about this at all but have you tried using the d2x cIOS installer as mentioned here io update the IOS files?

updates my files to v8.....249 through 256.
am on 4.2e.....would that make a difference?

download pimpmywii and update all ios's.
