Ok, I've just installed this on my iPad and looks to be just what I need - kids being able to use iPlayer on their iPads outside of the UK.
Has anyone had any experience of it, or can give it a whirl? It's free. Obviously still being in the UK I'm not able to test it before we're away.

:edit: Just tried AMC web site and could stream video fine with it set to 'US' when without it on I got a 'not allowed in your country' message, so it's looking good. Would still like to hear if anyone's used iPlayer successfully though.

Sounds like a VPN which should do the trick, I use them for pandora radio occasionally.
