Couchpotato V2 installtion help!

followed this guide to the letter:

now when i create a shortcut to C:\Python27\pythonw.exe C:\Couchpotato\Couchpotato.py, nothing happens

when i run C:\Python27\python.exe C:\Couchpotato\Couchpotato.py, in the command prompt, nothing happens, but if i create a shortcut to it, the window below appears briefly, i only managed to get a screeshot by pressing alt-print scr

if a type http://localhost:5050 into firefox, couchpotato appears , but in settings all the quality profiles are missing, searching for a movie works, but i cant select a quality to download because there are no qualites in the drop down menu

ive tried uninstalling git, python, pywin and CP and doing a fresh install but still nothing! on the brink of giving up

There is a native windows installer now. That guide is quite old. Uninstall the lot and just use the download from their site.

Right I've installed from the link above, and I'm still having the same missing quality profiles issue ...

Right got it. If anyone else has this issue . Simply shutdown CP, delete the couchpotato.db file in your root directory and restart :-)
