hi, GF wants one of these to replace $ky, are they any good?
saw a post about it constantly crashing but maybe it was a one off?
I'm thinking of getting a Vu+ clone and using that as a freesat box for now, but she's not too keen on the idea, yet.. l of anyl

anyway, that aside are they anygood?
very grateful of any advice..

My 500gb Humax dual pvr is the bollocks.
plug n play with sky connections, up and running in less than 10 mins.
found 137 tv channels including the free HD ones and 14 radio stations.
I ethernetted it up and have iplayer and itv player plus a couple of others.

best £149 I've spent in a long time - Grade A refurb off their website

I have a 1000s and it's been superb in the few months I've had it the only thing slightly holding it back is ch4 and ch5 catch up aren't live yet, it did have a few teething problems to begin with but all sorted now.

Just to add when networked it also plays xvids and certain mkvs
