    Default Chimenea

We are after one of these for the Garden.

I am sure someone on here must have one and can reccomend the best type.
I would class our patio as maedium/large. The decison I cannot make is to get a 360 style one or an single opening one.

    For example 360 http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-115cm-Ca...cm_vc=PPCXSLTP
    Single open: http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-72cm-Cas...efault,pd.html

Also what do you burn in them, I am sure where we live it has to be smokeless.

    Cheers

We have a cast iron one like the second one you posted it's great for when the sun starts to go down, we buy the logs in a bag that you just set fire to the bag and it burns for around 2 hours from B&M for a quid each B&Q sell the same ones for about £4 each.

I'd get a single opening one mate. I've got one and it's spot on, however my next door neighbours have one that looks like a lot of mesh on all sides and the smoke that comes out of it is ridiculous. I had my holiday clothes drying on the line & she lit the chimnea which smoked out all of my stuff the night before I was going away. Daft mare.

as above - the single opening ones create a proper chimney effect and draw the smoke up (you can also thrown stuff on and get 15 foot flames out the top...). You get heat all round as the material/body heats up and radiates the heat out.

oh and if you've got the space to store it you can get pallets of wood delivered for a fraction of the price of those light and forget bags although you do actually have to go to the tiny effort of building a fire but it makes you feel more like a man

One thing I would say is dont go for the cheapest... Father in law bought one 18 months ago used it a handful of times and it is now complete rust.. completely screwed.. I would think 18 months is a bit poor tbh

There's one on sale at Aldi from Thursday onwards for £29.99: http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers...uys3_30334.htm

No indication of the size though.

Think she wants an iron one with a bigger chimney.

I however like this one which doubles as a Pizza Oven and BBQ: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HACIENDA-S...item51aa3d78a7

Deff don't go for 360 one, get a nice solid cast iron one as people said the heat from it is where the iron getting hot as radiates more constantly from that rather than the fire if you with me. Pizza oven 1 a good idea but think that one will be the rust bucket mcamilm said about

Where do you get them from and what is a good price?
I think the area I live in it needs to be as smokeless as possible.

Regarding 'smokeless' fuels, this does not apply to bonfires:

    http://www.gardenlaw.co.uk/bonfires.htm
    https://www.gov.uk/garden-bonfires-rules

It's more to do with burning coal etc as a way of heating your home.

If you stick to seasoned wood, or BBQ charcoal then you should be fine. To be doubly sure check out your local borough councils website.
