    Not Bollox at all.

Every county council with the exception if South Yorkshire has hid for BDUK funding and some cases ERDF monies to provide fibre coverage to areas not covered by BTs commercial rollout.

BT have won 50% of the bids to date and are likely to win the remainder by September 2013. Typically 97% of the counties will have access to fibre broadband and high proportion will get SFBB.

If you don't believe me look here:

    Or here

    http://www.fastershire.com/homepage

    Or here

    http://www.superfastcornwall.org/

    Or here

Just pick a county yourself and see what's really going on.

    I stand corrected.

I still say seeing is believing though.

And not possible to get any real information from any fucker remotely related to BT or Open Reach.

There is no pleasing some people :-).

Openreach postcode checker should tell you:
    a) you can order fibre broadband now
    B) you cab should be enabled in the next 6 months
    C) you are in the fibre deployment area and will get it in the couple of years
    D) you are currently excluded from the deployment.

BT's rollout is open access so once the cabinet is live you can order bb from any provider that chooses to offer it. Sky often don't offer SFBB until you threaten to leave and they use it help retain you.

    D) Not currently in rollout plans.

As stated impossible to get any fucking info out of any cunt from BT or Open Reach. This is fucking amazing as I have a whole fibre node 200 yards away from me down the lane,it's been there for about three years now.

No fucking upgrade from local exchange since 2006.

You have a very clear answer from BT you just don't like it. I don't see you demanding Virgin serve you or Sky or Talk Talk etc.

Despite that observation you have two choices then. If its uneconomical for fibre broadband to be deployed at the cab the serves you I suggest you either:

    1) move to an area where it is viable to provide SFBB if it means that much to you.

    2) work with your county council and create a community scheme where a proportion of the project is funded by the Rural Communities Broadband Fund. This is achievable just see what Libby Bateman is doing in Cumbria.

That's a great and really constructive approach. I don't like it when someone tells me the truth so I'll just insult them.

It makes no difference to me if your buttons have been pushed I was offering advise to you. Why don't you contact Virgin and see what they can do for you.

My mum rang BT and got the Sports package added to her Sky Card. They were happy to add it to her HD box in HD or to her SD box.

The guy looked through our bill and nearly had a heart attack. He saw that I had downloaded 1.2 TB in a month. He was shocked. Not bad on an 8 meg line. He was under the impression that they throttled after 300 gig.

Does anyone know if a sky freesat card can have BT Sport added to it. I have a Dreambox and don't have a Sky card at all right now.

When my mum rang up only one card was done. He said you can choose the card.

If you find that it applies across the multiroom subscription, please post back.
