I suppose a NAS Section would be a good idea.
I've just started using FreeNAS and it's a bit of headache to get used to TBH. I tried NAS4Free and gave up within a few days.

A few members starting to chat about theirs in the closest sections already...

    Would agree

A section on nas, freenas , OMV etc would be good. No need to break it into subsections e.g hardware, software. .... Just general nas section will do

    Thanks to Undertaker

IMO overkill. We have sections where this sort of stuff can be discussed already.

    3 Thanks given to BertRoot

I agree with Bert - would have to start getting anal about definitions of PC/NAS/Server/SAN. All the devices listed can already be talked about.

I put my post under Home audio/visual etc. If it's a request for help it could go in three sections imho, hardware, software or the one I posted in

PC hardware would be best IMO, there is overlap with home entertainment but the protocols see are IT and that's the help that's usually required.
